longryder: I am a former U.S.Marine that began my real education of the world and the people in it when I joined The Corps in December 1965..I joined the Marines for the purpose of receiving that education..I had already asked for assignment to Vietnam and was granted that wish in June of '66..For the next 20 months I was privileged to have the opportunity to serve my Country under occasional difficult circumstances..It was why I joined..I have no regrets..The skills and toughness I developed with the Corps has made me who and what I am today..I have seen my once great and good Country seemingly being allowed to erode to a place I never thought it possible to sink to..I believe I know who has allowed this outrage to happen..I believe I know why this is so..My intent is to help bring those people to accountability ..and to justice..I can only promise you that I will never abandon the search..Nor will I abandon my dream of helping to restore this Country to it's rightful place as a Constitutionally based Republic where freedom is not a choice ..It is our God Given Right..Semper Fi
